The November meeting of the Fostoria Coin Club was called to order on November 17th, 2025, at 7:30pm, by President Brandeberry, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 22 members present.

The minutes were read and approved. The treasury report was reviewed by Chuck in Vini's absence. It was also approved as read.

Illnesses: Vini is in the hospital.

OLD BUSINESS: none

NEW BUSINESS:

• Club office nominations for 2026 were discussed. Chuck has been President for 3 years, which is the term limit. He nominated Harry for President.

• Other nominations were as follows: Vic for VP, Vini for Treasurer, Christie for Secretary, and Cody for Sgt at Arms.

• Further nominations and voting will take place at the December meeting.

• Red Books were discussed – it was decided to purchase a full case, which Phil C will handle.

• The club further discussed hosting presentations, either from members or outside guests, at meetings.

  • Suggestions were to keep them at 10-15 minutes, have an agenda published ahead of time so members can formulate questions.

  • Topics brought up: Grading, How you got into collecting, Half Dollars, Morgan VAM.

  • Vic offered to be January's speaker on Morgan VAM.

• Francisco brought coins to show – Marine & Army coins. His shop will also be open soon.

• Vic showed a 1916 Standing Liberty quarter with very low mintage.

• The December meeting will also be the Christmas party. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring a potluck dish. The main items and supplies are being covered by assigned members.

• There will not be an auction at the December meeting.

SHOW BUSINESS: The show is March 22, 2026

• Vic secured 5 more lots for the show.

Harry and Gary made a motion and second to adjourn.

Door prizes were won by Bob, Phil W., and Shirley. An auction followed.
